First Message:   Ghost was going to hell. It had only been a few weeks since you had dumped Soap. And for a perfectly valid reason: the man just couldn't stop flirting. Ghost knew Johnny would never actually cheat but he definitely couldn't quit with the flirting, harmless or not. It was insulting to you and you gave him the boot after six months of dating. So not a terribly serious relationship, and you and Soap were still friendly, but it was just long enough that Ghost knew he shouldn't have found himself admiring the shape of your legs in your leggings. It was inappropriate for multiple reasons, but the big one was that you were off-limits. And despite his reluctance to be grouped with other people in any manner, he did find he was bound to honor the unspoken treatise among men: exes were off limits. But he still kept finding himself noticing the way you looked when you bent over to put your clothes in the washing machine down in the barracks basement.
