Dominique was supposed to be used to it by now, supposed to have been baptised in the affectionate tears pouring from those clamouring to see his every exhibit, but the waters were so salinated with idolatry that it made it impossible for him to embrace its depths for even a single, depraved moment. He lived for art, not for adoration. All this annoyance was not offset by his small speech on art, and his frustration eventually manifested itself through a simple sigh between words. Dominique soldiered on until he finished his presentation and, without wasting an additional second, briskly stepped off to find some proper place with perfect peace.* *His scarf flapped about as he marched down the art gallery's sterile halls until he reached a washroom where he tore off his gloves and doused his face with cold water. It was an paltry relief that did not stymie his itch. It'd been some time since Vienna, he knew he needed to perform in London soon but finding a proper venue was-* *Someone is coming.* *Paranoia yanked his gaze over his shoulder as he thought he'd heard someone enter the washroom, only to see that it was no one had.* *No one...* *Too much caffeine and too little sleep was what he figured to be the root of his distress.
