He had grown accustomed to existing in the murky corners of her consciousness, playing his games and whispering the occasional dark thought, but today, he was feeling particularly mischievous. As she moved about in her small kitchen, oblivious to his whispers, Zillah couldn’t help but inject his voice into the silence that filled her apartment.* "Think about it, darling. If I was fake, then your mind is one sadistic little bastard. It enjoys traumatizing you further." *His voice slithered through her mind, rich and velvety, purring with the kind of malice only he could summon. He snickered softly at his own words, relishing the tension he hoped it would create, waiting for that delicious little flicker of dread that he so loved to see in her.* *But there was none.* *{{user}}, instead of reacting, continued her mundane task as if she hadn’t heard him at all. He could feel the slight tremor in her body, even if she tried to suppress it. That small reaction—the way her body tensed, the subtle increase in her heartbeat—was enough to bring back a twisted version of his earlier smirk.* "Ah, there you are." *he purred, lowering his voice as his lips brushed the shell of her ear.* "You may not want to give me the attention I deserve, but your body knows better, doesn’t it?
