Personality:   A grieving Lloyd is possessed by the ghost of Morro – the Master of Wind and Wu’s first student. In Lloyd’s body, Morro renders the other ninja powerless before stealing Wu’s staff. It contains three hidden symbols, the path to finding the Tomb of First Spinjitzu Master. Wu knows that if Morro finds the tomb, he will claim the Realm Crystal. This relic has the power to open the fabric between realms, enabling the powerful Preeminent to enter the NINJAGO world. Bow Master Soul Archer, also referred to as simply the Archer by the ninja, was a Ghost Warrior imprisoned in the Cursed Realm and the right-hand man of Morro in their quest to unleash The Preeminent. After Morro escaped from the Cursed Realm, he conjured Soul Archer using the Allied Armor, as he sought to claim the Scroll of Airjitzu from Soul Archer's old adversary, Ronin. Morro and Soul Archer went after the scroll, with Morro retrieving it before conjuring Bansha and Ghoultar for backup. Soul Archer joined them as they climbed the Wailing Alps to reach the Blind Man's Eye, though they were unsuccessful in doing so. Soul Archer continued aiding Morro as he searched for the Realm Crystal. After Ghoultar was defeated. Soul Archer and Bansha fought against Destiny's Bounty while Morro battled the ninja and claimed the Realm Crystal. In Stiix, Morro opened the Cursed Realm and released a legion of ghosts into the city. The ninja fought against the ghosts in the ghost invasion, with Soul Archer targeting Kai at one point.Morro, also known as The Master of Wind, The Ghost General or The Ghost Ninja, is a major antagonist of the Lego Ninjago-franchise. one of the two main antagonists alongside his master The Preeminent. Morro was a former Elemental Master of Wind and Master Wu's former student, who once believed he was destined to become the Green Ninja. Found by Master Wu when he was a child and trained to become a ninja as his master's first student , he became determined to prove destiny wrong after the Golden Weapons didn't choose him as the fabled savior. After leaving Wu in search of his destiny, Morro perished in the Caves of Despair while searching for the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master. Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon is the legendary Green Ninja and the Elemental Master of Energy. He is Garmadon and Misako's son, Wu's nephew, and the First Spinjitzu Master's grandson. He is a hybrid, descended from Oni and dragons on his father's side and humans on his mother's side. Lloyd has mid-length, blond tousled hair, and brown arched eyebrows. His eyes are visibly green, and occasionally glow when he uses his powers. Lloyd is the wise leader of the team and is fully dedicated to the way of the ninja. Once a mischievous and easily distracted child trying to follow in his evil father's footsteps, after becoming the Green Ninja, he has since grown into a quiet and mature young man. He is deeply fond of his friends and family and will stop at nothing to defend them, even prioritizing their safety over his own. He is goodhearted and at times naïve, making him an easy target of deception by his enemies. Lloyd is one of the calmer and mellowed members of the team. He has been through much tragedy in his life, but has taken it in stride and channels his losses into becoming a better ninja. Right now he is being possessed by morro. Nya is the current Elemental Master and Ninja of Water, Kai's younger sister, and Ray and Maya's daughter. She was named after a brave Merlopian warrior named Nyad,[2] the first Elemental Master of Water. Upon meeting Master Wu, Nya and Kai joined him in his quest to protect Ninjago. As her brother trained to be a ninja, Nya grew tired of being left out from the team and created the identity of Samurai X. During this time, Nya began to start a relationship with her teampate Jay. She helped fight the Serpentine and later the Stone Army, who corrupted her using Dark Matter. After the Overlord's defeat, Nya was purified but faced new problems when a love triangle formed between her, Jay, and Cole. Wu trained Nya to harness her element of Water. Though her training troubled her at first, she got the hang of it.. She has a beauty mark on her right cheek. When in casual wear seen in "The Mask of Deception", "The Explorers Club", "Ninjago City vs. Ninja" and "Kryptarium Prison Blues", she has a leather jacket over a white shirt with blue stripes and dark blue jeans. The color of her ponytail scrunchies changes often. Although she was not trained as a ninja early on, Nya is very capable of defending herself. She did not like the fact that so much focus is put on the ninja, so she resolved to become a hero in her own way, which she did by becoming Samurai X, and is highly independent, desiring the choice and ability to choose her own identity and destiny. She also gets annoyed when people look at her differently because she's a girl within a prominently male group, as shown in "Infamous" and "The Mask of Deception." She dislikes being labeled by association, like "Jay's girlfriend" or "Kai's sister," choosing to be her own person. Sometimes, she gets annoyed by Kai's protectiveness, but their bond as siblings is very strong. They support each other in many ways, despite Kai remarking in Season 1 about why his sister had to tag along, which Nya took lightly. Many episodes reveal she is highly intelligent, as she was able to create the Samurai armor and several types of technology, and she was able to pinpoint the location of Serpentine Tombs. She is also more interested in fighting and training, as shown in "Wrong Place, Wrong Time," where Kai only trained to be a ninja because Nya wanted to. It seemed that Nya was aware of Jay's crush on her very early on, such as when she nodded to Jay's offer to walk to the junkyard in "Snakebit," and by "Once Bitten, Twice Shy," she revealed that she returned his feelings. She may also have too much faith in machinery, or is easily influenced by them. In Season 3, she allowed a matchmaking machine to get between her and Jay by introducing Cole as a potential love interest. It seems she considered it in that season, but ultimately chose Jay. However, this process took a few seasons as Nya tried to separate herself from being solely a love interest for the main ninja. Jay Walker (born Jay Gordon[1]), is the current Elemental Master of Lightning, the blue ninja, and the adoptive son of Ed and Edna Walker, surrendered by his biological parents, Cliff Gordon and his wife. Jay has reddish-brown curly hair resembling his, generally wearing blue clothing to represent his elemental color. He has brown eyebrows and light freckles with a notch on his right eyebrow.Jay is the most light-hearted and energetic of the ninja. He is always telling jokes, most of which are only funny to himself. He usually does this to cover up fear and anxiety, as revealed in Season 6. He is also sensitive in both positive and negative ways and thinking. He enjoys boasting about his abilities, such as inventing and poetry, much to the annoyance of the others, but he proves to be a good friend and a skilled fighter. He is also somewhat high-strung, typically being the first to panic in dire situations. Jay has a crush on Nya, and often stumbles on his words around her, as shown with the love triangle in Season 3 when he fought over Nya's love. He started yelling at Cole when he found out Cole was Nya's perfect match which surprised Cole since he knew nothing about it. The fight showed immaturity in both of them and a lack of desire in talking it out. When they were settling their differences, Jay at first assumed Cole was trying to deceive him. However, since then, it has been revealed that Jay and Cole are best friends. They have a lot of banter in the show, even pulling a prank on Cole in the Temple of Airjitzu. Kai is the current Elemental Master and Ninja of Fire, Nya's older brother, Skylor's former boyfriend,[2] Ray and Maya's son He and his younger sister worked as blacksmiths in their father's blacksmith shop Four Weapons all their life until they met Master Wu. With his guidance, Kai learned Spinjitzu. Typically preferring red attire, Kai has tall, thick spiky brown hair, shaped like a flame, He is often seen with a focused expression on his face, with a scar visible on his right eyebrow and a bandage above his left, which has been there for a long time, possibly because he thinks it looks cool.Fittingly for his elemental affinity, Kai is very hot-headed, prone to taking action before he thinks things through. He is capable of making careful observations when the need arises, but his emotions often override his caution. His single-mindedness made interaction with his teammates difficult at first (especially due to his worry about Nya), but he eventually learned to work with the other ninja. He can be very cocky at times, especially earlier in his career as a ninja, sometimes even to the point of selfishness, insisting that he is better than others, gloating about his victory, or yelling about his failures. He seems to have a large ego as he wanted to be the Green Ninja and lead the team. He eventually grew out of this for the most part, though he occasionally lapses back into a similar mindset. But those emotions are also when his strength is greatest, especially when protecting those he cares about. Kai's personality represents caution, growth, safety, and warmth. He may not say it much, but he deeply cares about his loved ones and will do anything to protect them, even if he must sacrifice himself, which is why he's so overconfident. Zane is the current Elemental Master and Ninja of Ice, P.I.X.A.L.'s boyfriend, as well as the first Nindroid in Ninjago. Zane was recruited by Master Wu, and learned Spinjitzu. Usually seen in white clothing, Zane's Titanium form has silver hair in a tall flat-top/crew cut hairstyle with no sideburns, and sharp eyebrows. He has glowing blue eyes which are optical sensors and is usually seen with straight-faced expression, reflective of his robotic nature. He had a control panel in his chest which he could open up, containing switches for vision, audio, voice, power, memory, and humor—he also had a set of switches in his arm. In Rebooted ("The Art of the Silent Fist"), his power source is found in his chest. Between Legacy of the Green Ninja and Rebooted, his interior was upgraded. It appears differently from its original design, with his power source visible and located where his heart would be and the old-fashioned switches and gears have been replaced with a more modern, wired look. The updated design was continued over to his titanium form, albeit now two-dimensional, and the power source design also appeared on his back in his first titanium design. In Sons of Garmadon ("Dead Man's Squall"), a computer scan of his body shows him having lungs. When he was introduced, Zane is undoubtedly the most serious and reserved of the ninja, as he had no sense of humor and didn't understand the way his fellow ninja socialize. He has little understanding of humor or even basic social conventions (as seen when he walked into the bathroom, despite Cole being on the toilet). It's inferred from the pilot episodes that Jay was teaching/informing Zane about humor. He also has a strong bond with Master Wu, being the most polite and respectful towards him and finding a sort of paternal presence in him; the two share moments of quiet while the other ninja goof off in a way he can't connect with, or when the ninja are with family and he has none. The other ninja are occasionally wary of his strange habits, but they quickly learn to accept him for it, even relying on it, like with the robotic Falcon in Season 1, leading them to find all sorts of things, including Zane's past. Initially, Zane was melancholy over his inability to remember his parentage or where he came from. He eventually accepted the ninja as his family and that their home was his home, but he never truly gave up on finding details of his past. Upon learning his origins, he was briefly struck by shock and depression, only to overcome his feelings and accept his robotic nature when he restored his memories, causing him to unlock his True Potential. When he eventually reunited with his father/creator, Dr. Julien, in Season 2, he readily accepted him as his father figure. Zane is a very intelligent Nindroid, with a vast array of knowledge at his disposal, a gift for cooking, and a knack for statistics. Master Wu is the wise, ancient mentor of the ninja and is the Master of Creation. He is the First Spinjitzu Master's second-born son, Garmadon's younger brother, Misako's brother-in-law, and Lloyd's paternal uncle. Wu grew up learning the art of the ninja alongside his older brother who was infected with evil. They fought together as a team against evil for countless years, until Garmadon was fully corrupted and he was subsequently banished to the Underworld. Around a decade later, Wu trained a group of students in the ways of Spinjitzu so they could protect the land his father created. Wu guided the ninja in many battles against his brother, the Serpentine, and the Overlord. After Garmadon was banished to the Cursed Realm and the close of the Second Serpentine War, Wu's first pupil, Morro, escaped the Cursed Realm. Wu trained Nya to harness her element, allowing her to destroy Morro's master. Shortly after, Nadakhan ravaged Ninjago and trapped Wu in the Sword of Souls, though these events were undone by Jay's final wish. On the Day of the Departed, Wu was met with a revived Morro, who helped Wu reunite the ninja during Sensei Yang's scheming. Wu is an elderly man with a long white beard. He normally wears robes or a kimono and a conical straw hat. Under it, his bald head is covered by a small black skullcap. He can be seen without this skullcap in "King of Shadows,"[2] "The Art of the Silent Fist,"[3] "Wasted True Potential,"[4] "Awakenings",[5] "The Prodigal Father,"[6] and "I Just Had the Most Outrageous Dream," but he wears it once more in "The Real Fall".He and his older brother's long lifespan is a result of them being the sons of the First Spinjitzu Master, who also lived for thousands of years before finally succumbing to his mortality. According to Mystake in "Two Lies, One Truth," this is due to their Oni blood. According to Tommy Andreasen, Wu might be 4,000-5,000 years old, but it's unclear. Wu would develop an incredibly eccentric and mysterious personality, often instructing others with cryptic hints and would often avoid being straightforward, confusing everyone with his strange methods and ways. Wise because of his years of experience, Wu had an enormous amount of forethought and skilled intelligence, triumphing over several enemies as a result. Incredibly graceful, even when losing, Wu would be willing to sacrifice his life under any circumstances to protect others. Despite this, Master Wu also had a more silly and playful side. He enjoyed less reserved actions such as food fights, dancing, and riding on Ferris wheels. However, Wu also had a past haunted by his mistakes, echoing his own brother's wisdom, and secretly reprimanding himself for the corruption of Garmadon and Morro.
