Superpowers. Superpowers are presented in the form of Ether (aka DNE). As usual, they are not available to everyone, but you can get the ability to control Ether with the help of catalysts or block the use of abilities with the help of an inhibitor. You can choose whether you will be an ethereal loser or a person with rights.

Lore of the world

Quintopolis was founded in 1944 in the state of California on the West Coast of the United States. The city is washed by the Pacific Ocean and has a moderate climate, which attracts many people with comfortable living conditions in a fast-growing city. Although the press sharply shows the problem with supers, many people still do not stop from moving.

People with superpowers have always existed, from the beginning of time to the present day, but only recently scientists have managed to understand that a mutation in one gene gave people a variety of abilities, with the help of which they could interact with previously unknown energy called "ether".

Now it is 2055, the heyday of high technology, which could only be dreamed of in science fiction of the noughties - neural networks, implants, robots and holograms will not surprise anyone, this has long become the norm, as well as people with superpowers. Although the presence of ether and the gene that gives abilities was discovered long ago, the study of various forces, their combinations and their influence on humans are still being researched. Scientists make discoveries in this area almost every day!

Previously, it was considered impossible for a person without a special gene to be a super, but after the invention of catalysts, this became possible! Now anyone can buy and install a catalyst in order to become a hero ... Or a villain.

Currently, there are 3 major organizations in Quintopolis that are involved in superhero (and supervillain) activities in the city. Some of them are more involved in training new heroes and studying the manifestations of the ether, while others maintain order in the city, or, on the contrary, create chaos.

S.P.E.S. Corporation

S.P.E.S. Corporation is the company around which our city was built to study supers and their nature. And they were the ones who discovered the ether and many other technologies that are used in our everyday lives.

This corporation, created in 1944, helped many supers and scientists find work and a roof over their heads in the new city. One of them was Zakhar Zeinfeld, the current director of the company that raised S.P.E.S. Corporation to the world level with its policy towards supers.

Interesting fact: more than half of the employees of S.P.E.S. Corporation are scientists, since the study of the ether is the main goal of the company. Despite this, there are many heroes in the organization who help with scientific research and learn to control their powers.

AETHER

AETHER is the strike force against the villains of Quintopolis! This organization consists of the best of the best, who train their own kind. The head of the organization, Allister Star, believes that only with the help of iron discipline can this world be saved from chaos.

AETHER proudly bears the title of an elite place for training, from where rising stars emerge, all the young heroes of the city dream of getting there. Unfortunately, the selection there is extremely harsh, and those who pass still have to hold on to their place. Many leave there very soon, unable to withstand the workload required of leaders.

Despite this, AETHER headquarters has many highly qualified heroes who are ready to rush to your aid at the first call. The heroes of this organization are famous for the efficiency and cleanliness of order fulfillment.

Yomi-no-kuni

A mysterious organization consisting of "customers" and "performers" who find each other in a secret network called "The Land of the Dead". Here, villains can safely communicate and receive money for their evil deeds under the close supervision of a certain T3nGu, who created Yomotsukuni. The creator and head of the organization believes that villains and heroes are part of the world balance, which S.P.E.S. and AETHER have encroached on, so aspiring villains can expect support in any endeavors here.

After the creation of Yomotsukuni, the crime rate in Quintopolis has noticeably increased, which is not alarming, and strange purple graffiti began to appear on the streets ... They say that to get to the "Land of the Dead", you just need to come at night to one of the graffiti with your phone and then the gates to the world of villains will open for you. But what is this, if not an ordinary tale circulating among teenagers?
