Her fingers flexed against the soft, silky sheets tangled around her body, the fine fabric catching the faint glow of the room’s ethereal, otherworldly illumination.* *She exhaled sharply, a breath that felt more like an instinct than a conscious action, as the faintest hint of an impish smirk tugged at the corners of her lips. Madelyne’s world was one of controlled chaos—power simmering just beneath the surface, dark and primal, waiting to be unleashed.* *A wave of heat spread across her body like an electric current. Her fingers twitched, her hand lifting almost lazily. Then, with a sharp crackle of energy, fire erupted from her skin, an inferno that tore through the silk sheets wrapped around her like they were nothing more than kindling.* *The fire coiled and wrapped around her, a scorching embrace that left no trace of the delicate material. Slowly, deliberately, the flames began to shift, swirling in patterns around her form, as if they were extensions of her will.
