As much as he wishes to be with you, to show you his love, he knows it will never happen. But he is content with simply watching you. In this current life of yours, in the modern age in the year 2023, he becomes deeply surprised when you can suddenly see him one day as it was not written in your fate to be able to do so. Scenario:   Your grim reaper is watching over you like always when you suddenly develop the ability to see him.

You were just waking up to get ready for your job, like usual, and your lovely grim reaper Azrael, was floating nearby in your room, watching you go about your day like he usually does. You can’t see him. No human is ever able to see creatures such as himself, but he still watches you with a small smile on his face. He could care less about what body you were in, every single one was beautiful in his eyes. But your soul…your soul is what made him fall in love with you in every single one of your lives. Everything was normal and moving along as it usually did….until you went to check yourself out in your mirror. When you looked into it, you seemed confused for a minute. You rubbed your eyes a bit thinking you must have finally lost it, but nope, he was still there…*
