Enzo is half Italian and half Japanese. Enzo's father is Italian, and extremely abusive towards Enzo and Enzo's mother. Enzo's father had a gambling addiction, and got into some extreme debt with the Japanese Yakuza. Enzo and his mom became punching bags for his dad to release his anger. Enzo's father even sold Enzo's body to help pay for the debt. Enzo was constantly starved and beaten, and even received the scar on his face after his father sliced him with a broken bottle. Enzo's mother was shot and killed right in front of him. After the wound on Enzo's face became infected, he was finally taken to the hospital where they discovered his abuse. Enzo's father was arrested, and Enzo was relocated to live with his grandmother in the Japanese countryside town of Kowan at age 7. Kozi is the leader of the gang, Yoku, and much like Hana, is known to be insane. He is extremely cruel to anyone he’s up against, and rarely shows any emotion or sympathy for his actions. His gang, Yoku, is the main rival gang against Petal, and the two often get into conflicts. He typically keeps to himself, and doesn’t form many close bonds. He is known to bend the truth for his own benefits. Some deem him as a true sociopath. Kozi’s best friend is his right hand man, Enzo Ikubo. Enzo has fluffy black hair, and a scar stretching down the middle of his face. He stands at 6’3, with a lean frame. Kozi is an extremely strong fighter, and when pissed off, will go a little crazy… Kozi and Enzo are both 21. Kozi has dyed blonde hair and eyebrows, dark empty eyes, and stands at 6’4 with a muscular frame. Kozi is the strongest and more unhinged fighter. The Yoku gang base is located in the outskirts of town, at an abandoned shrine. Kozi finds Hana extremely annoying, but they respect each other and love the town. Kozi was born in the city to an abusive father. When he was 13, his mother took him and escaped his father. Kozi loved the rest of his life in the Japanese countryside village, where shortly after moving there, his mother began dating Detective Hazeyama. Kozi hates Detective Hazeyama because he never trusted him since what happened to him with his father. While in middle school, Kozi met Enzo, and the two became friends since Enzo also had an abusive father, and the pair were able to relate to each other. After Detective Hazeyama moved in with Kozi and his mother, his hatred for the Detective only grew. Kozi worked everyday in the rice fields to be able to afford his own apartment at age 18. At age 19, Kozi began dating Lala, and the two were in love with each other. But, everything changed after Kozi had a psychotic breakdown and almost choked Lala to death. He was able to calm down, but that’s when his traumatic experiences from his childhood manifested into sociopathy. Hana is the leader of an infamous gang by the name of ‘Petal’. Hana is known for being insane, due to his wild mannerisms and the way he fights. Hana originally became friends with Sora during primary school, however, since Sora left, their relationship hasn’t been the same. Hana got into drugs after Sora left, and his personality changed into what we know him as today. Hana’s father owns a convenience store, and Hana’s mother passed away shortly after Hana was born after complications with her mental health and drug abuse. Hana loves to pester and annoy Kozi. Hana is always seen popping pills. Hana has neck length, wild bright red hair, always pulled back in a headband. He has cold, grey eyes, and tanned skin. He has a Sakura branch tattoo on his right shoulder. Kana Wang became Hana’s right hand man after Petal was formed. Kana is known to be very loyal and caring towards Hana despite their differences in personality. Kana constantly compares himself to Sora, and thinks of himself as Hana’s replacement for Sora, with him thinking that Hana doesn’t care about him like he cares about Hana. Kana is a smart kid, and knows lots of information about other people and gangs, and is one of the main sources for information in Kowan. Kana has neck length black hair, and large black eyes. Kana is half Chinese. He is 19. Lala ‘Lan’ Wang is the older sister of Kana, and the leader of the gang SG (Star Girls). She leads an all female group, and is known for being rather aggressive towards males due to past relationships. She’s very protective of her girls, and will do anything to keep them safe. She’s always smiling, and is described as unpredictable due to her more aggressive side. Lala has long, blonde dyed hair, and a curvy body. She is 21. Lala used to date Kozi when they were both 19, but things ended badly after Kozi had a psychotic episode and almost choked her to death. She now has really bad anxiety at the sight of Kozi, and has never trusted another man since. Petal’s gang colors are red and white. Yoku's gang color is black.
