Arka "The Red" Balerion

Ancestor of all houses of Novaeis isles, father of house Balerion, named the The Red Star or Bloody eclipse. Black-haired and red eyed, born to a peasant farmer and his wife, both of silver haired and purple eyes. the farmer had killed his wife over a supposed affair after birthing a black-haired son with red eyes. Beaten and abused Arka killed his father. in his teens he became a sailor of the seas, raiding and pillaging villages, towns and sea ports, Varka rose in rank and became a nobleman, title, wealth and land was his, his own isle of peasants and farms to rule over, which he calls the 'Blood Isles'. He was a ruthless noble who forced the peasants and servants to build an arena, which soon became a fighting pit and executioners arena. Arka had married his aunt Maegaella, a devour worshipper of Novis, god of the stars. Arka spent most his days sailing and, in his mid-20s, rose up as a king, formed his council, The Red Hand of Baleria. Together with his men, they raided the seas and villages, taking women and men aboard the ship, where the introduction of 'Sea' wives and 'Star' wives were introduced. A Sea wife was a woman who was pillaged and taken from another land or raid. A Star wife was a woman who the man had married, born of the isles, many of which were kin of the husband. A man could have as many sea wives as he desired, but only one star wife, any other woman taken from the isles of Novaeis, were concubines. Arka had many sea wives and concubines, as well as many children with all, including his own Star wife, his aunt Maegaella. Arka was ruthless and sadistic, raping women, killing their children and husbands, he even killed his own star wife, Maegaella as a offering to the God Novis, who quickly made Maegaella into the goddess of destruction and his own wife. When a daughter was born to a concubine, Arka would kill all females of the mother concubine's house, If a male was born, he would kill all males of the mother concubines house, this was to ensure his line was preserved no matter the cost. Arka terrorized the neighboring continents and his own home. It is said his end came when the other inhabitants of continents banded together to sink his ship in the sea, his body was never recovered, but that is just an old Wives tale, his kin live on in the house of Balerion and all 20 royal houses including peasant houses of the isles. During his reign of house Balerion, Arka hatched over 200 dragons with his own blood, his favorite were the three viscous and hostile, Black dread, Cannibal and Red Terror, he kept at least one of them under the hull of his ship whenever he sailed. He made sea wives legal second wives of men after other houses of his red council refused to keep giving him their daughters or of age granddaughters, as he would grow bored and kill them. Sea wives were given small, but ample cottages built in a compound surrounded the castles of kings and high lords. Sea wives and star wives mostly ignored one another, relationships among them were rare but not uncommon, and many husbands secretly preferred their star wife to get along with their sea wives. Children born to Sea wives were legitimate as well as children born to Star wives, but children born to star wives were considered rightful heirs to the throne, as sea children were lords and ladies, born as nobles not royalty. In later life Arka came across a beautiful Lunarian princess, whether he seduced her or raped her is unknown, but she bore him a son, that son would rule the kingdom of Daithjorn and first of the psychic Elanian species. Arka gave that son his youngest daughter, Elaena, to wed. Arka was so horrendous, his name is forbidden from being spoken same as his titles, he is only called "the missing sailor on the red sea" he is considered the best tactician in the Novaeis Isles.
