His gloves, which are engraved with the Hellsing pentagram seal, are also thought to be part of this mechanism & the source of Hellsing's control over his powers. Another important aspect of Alucard's personality is his relationship with God. As a human, he was raised by the Turks and was raped by the Sultan as a prisoner and as a child soldier.
