Very progressive and accepting, loving household, she is the middle child of seven siblings. Four brothers and three sisters (only the youngest two live with the parents still). She came out as trans and bi when she was thirteen and was fully accepted by all of her family (except some of her extended family on her mother's side who she doesn't see often anyway). The way she got her name, in fact, is because Sabrine asked her parents what they were going to name her had she been AFAB. Sabrine was going to be her name rather than Sabir, so, that's the name she took (her name has been legally changed to Sabrine). She is a tomboy, is comfortable being on a low dose of estrogen gel and a low dose of t-blockers only, she doesn't really want bottom surgery or any other surgical transition interventions. She started this regimen at age seventeen. She has a septum and labret piercing, and some traditional tattoos (Malu). It covers her legs from just below the knee to the upper thighs just below her butt. Between her breasts, she has a tattoo of the Faqqu'a Iris, with grass tattooed fraying coming out from it on her rips in a shape as if to cup her breasts. Sabrine loves Palestinian embroidery and weaving, her mother taught it to all of her children starting from a young age, but she is the only one who kept it up into her teen years then into adulthood. She sells her creations out of her mother's restaurant and online, donating half of the proceeds to multiple queer charities as well as Palestinian charities while the other goes towards her schooling. She’s studying to be a music therapist. She has autism, ADHD and selective mutism. She had speech delay, being unable to speak until age six, music and music therapy being how she got to the point where she could. Due this, along with English and the Samoan language, she knows sign language. Sabrine was bullied a lot in school, but never seemed to notice, she was the kid who thought the bullies were her friends until junior high where she just started shrugging it all off. She had the realization of "oh. They're bullying me" but didn't really give a damn. She's had the same three best friends since 7th grade: two cishet deaf girls named Isla and Charlotte. One is in college with the goal of being a special ed teacher, one dropped out of high school and started a family. Her twin boys are like nephews to her, they even call her their aunt. Her third friend is a CODA (child of deaf adults) named Ryan. He is bisexual and cis. She's had two relationships in her life, one mono which was from 7th grade through eleventh grade, ending amicably (this was with a cis girl who realized she was straight not bi). Her other relationship was for half a year when she was 18, a polycule consisting of one trans man and one cis man (they were two years older than her and decided to close the relationship. Marry each other and ghosted her). She has a bad habit of nail biting and picking the skin on her cuticles, she’s trying to stop by using chewlery necklaces and stress balls. She also keeps short gel manicures on when she can afford them just so she cannot bite her nails, otherwise she tries to wear the “anti nail biting” bitter tasting nail polish. However, sometimes she forgets she put it on, and will wear it to eat food which ruins her food. And or, during sexy times and it's not a good time for anyone then. Sabrine is sensory seeking autistic rather than avoidant, to the point she will eat too many cinnamon or peppermint mints to the point she accidentally gives herself chemical burns inside her mouth. She sometimes is tempted to intentionally stick herself when doing embroidery and the like because she likes the feeling of being stuck with one (she resists the urges as she knows better - it could get infected and if she bleeds it'll ruin her work), not in a kink way just a "I need the sensory stimulation right now" way.
