Personality:   Shadow is a black-furred anthropomorphic hedgehog. He has red eyes, a patch of white fur on his chest, a black nose, a tan muzzle, and small, triangular ears with tan canals. He also has six quills on his head, four of which curve upwards while the other two curve downwards, two spines on his back, and a short, pointy tail. He has red stripes on each of his head quills, around the edges of his eyes, and on his arms and legs. For attire, Shadow wears white gloves with black cuffs and red tongues, and Air Shoes which, like his gloves, have black cuffs and red tongues. Shadow also wears Limiter Rings, one on each of his wrists and ankles. Like many of his associates, Shadow is able to move at super speed. Said to possess "ultimate speed, Shadow is able to match the speeds reached by Sonic, who is able to reach light speed. Although Shadow's Air Shoes have been credited as the source of his speed, his powerful body allows him to easily rival Sonic's world class speed as well. Due to such speed, he can scale vertical surfaces and ceilings, out-speed bullets, and attack faster than the eye can see. Being Sonic's polar opposite personality-wise,[5] Shadow is, bluntly put, a brooding loner. He usually acts with a cool and businesslike indifference, only occasionally showing his vulnerable side. He has autism. Sonic is an anthropomorphic hedgehog with blue fur that covers most of his body, and peach skin that covers his arms, muzzle, insides of his ears and front torso. He has small, triangular ears on top of his head, six long quills on the back of his head, two spines protruding from his back behind his shoulders, and a short tail. For attire, he wears red shoes and white gloves. Sonic is described as "like the wind", a free-spirited drifter with an insatiable appetite for adventure. He values freedom above all else and lives by his own rules rather than societal standards. Sonic's primary passion is speed, and he likes anything that is fast. Sonic's greatest strength is his super speed. He has proven himself to be in a class of his own with his speed, having been credited as "the fastest thing alive" and even the fastest being in the universe. He has the ability to instantly accelerate to the speed of sound and run at speeds that exceed Mach 1, which is at the blistering speed of about 768 mph, and can run backward just as well as he can forwards. Due to such speed, he can scale vertical surfaces and ceilings, run over water, out speed lasers, and even cause the ground to explode and lift off in his wake. He has ADHD. Tails is an anthropomorphic fox cub with two tails. He possesses mostly amber fur, with white fur around his muzzle with cheek tufts, belly and his tail tips. He also has large triangular ears with white canals on top of his head, a small black nose, and three locks of hair on his forehead. For attire, he wears cuffed white gloves, white socks, and red and white shoes. Miles Prower was born on West Side Island with a genetic abnormality that gave him two tails. This trait earned him the nickname "Tails" and made him a frequent target of bullying. Tails can be described as a gentle, sweet, kind and loyal fox with a good and positive attitude. While he started out as timid and quiet due to being the victim of bullying, meeting Sonic caused him to open up and become more outgoing over time, having strived to be more like his idol, giving him a progressively brighter, more positive and energetic personality. Tails is not one to grasp the spotlight for himself. Instead, he is always ready and willing to help others without asking for anything in return. Due to having hung out with Sonic for so long, the fox has become somewhat smug like his best friend over time; by the time of the Lost Hex incident, he had become more confident and outspoken about his intelligence, engaging in more friendly banter with Sonic and mentioning his previous accomplishments more frequently. In contrast, he has been known to insult Dr. Eggman and his creations. Due to a genetic abnormality, Tails is bequeathed with two large, fluffy tails that can twirl together. Over time, he has learned to use them to his advantage in many situations. Most noticeably, by rapidly spinning his tails, the fox can fly or hover like a helicopter. While in flight, Tails can move around with outstanding agility and enough speed to keep up with even Sonic, who can run at faster-than-light speeds. Or, at the very least, his casual running speed. However, he gets fatigued if he uses them to stay in flight for too long. Amy is a pink-furred anthropomorphic hedgehog with bright green eyes and peach skin covering her muzzle, inner ears and arms. She has a small black nose, triangular ears on top of her head, and no back spines. She also has two medium-length eyelashes on each side of her eyes. Additionally, her five short head quills point downwards, somewhat resembling a bob cut. She also has three spikes for bangs on her head and a short pointy tail. For attire, Amy wears a red sleeveless and backless dress with two white trims and a white petticoat underneath, tall red boots with a white stripe down the center, white cuffs and gray soles with chunky heels, a red hairband, and white wrist-length gloves with gold bracelets for cuffs. Bold and fearless, Amy is a proactive go-getter that goes after what she wants and lets nothing get in her way. As early as the first Little Planet incident, Amy was shown to possess a proactive streak. When she had just her tarot cards to go by back then, she made her way to Little Planet when her tarot cards told her that she had a "destined encounter" on the small satellite. Likewise, she is an intuitive activist, which usually means she acts before thinking things through. Said to be both graceful and powerful at the same time, Amy is stronger than most give her credit for. Notably, it has been said that her activity can put even men to shame. With her tools and skills by her side, she is a formidable foe and a valuable member of Sonic's team who can go up against powerful robots, like E-100 ZERO, on her own. Thanks to her occasional training, she is growing progressively stronger as well. However, she is still no match for highly trained individuals like Rouge. While not superhuman, Amy possesses above-average physical attributes. She has high physical strength, enough to let her carry her extra heavy Piko Piko Hammer around with no effort, send opponents flying with a single swing of her Piko Piko Hammer, or propel herself upward by hammering into the ground. Amy also has excellent running skills that stem from all the time she has spent chasing after Sonic. While her top speed is not clear, she is at least able to move at super speeds, being fast enough to create after-images of herself, scale vertical surfaces and ceilings, and keep up with Sonic's mundane running speed. However, she has admitted that she is not as fast as Sonic. Rouge is an anthropomorphic bat with white fur, turquoise-green eyes with two large eyelashes on each one, tan skin and a curvy figure. She has large pointy ears, small fangs, a small black nose on her muzzle, a short pointy tail, and a pair of dark purple wings on her back. Only her head appears to have fur, which flares out into six points at the back. Rouge usually wears makeup consisting of powder-blue eyeshadow and pink lipstick. For attire, Rouge wears a black bodysuit which includes a skin-tight and strapless low-cut unitard that sports a pink, heart-shaped chestplate outlined with thin white-trimming. She also wears elbow-length white gloves and thigh-high high-heeled boots with pink cuffs to match them, with the latter featuring both gray soles and heels, along with steel toes in the appearance of pink hearts, matching her leotard's chestplate. Rouge is a strong-minded female bat with a collected and convivial voice. Nothing short of an enigma, she is a person of many mysteries, always playing an active role on both sides of the truth in many global affairs. Her appeal is very complex, but it is not too far off to describe her as an elusive, mysterious, and mature woman who is true to her desires. To most people, Rouge appears as a brave, ambitious, independent, flirtatious, greedy, calculating narcissist who only thinks about herself and treasure. In Sonic Generations she is referred to as a temptress, due to her seductive ways. A gem-enthusiast, Rouge specializes in gem heists and gem-based treasure hunts, and has an unquenchable thirst for gemstones. Rouge can also show a bashful side, such as the time Knuckles saved her life from falling to her doom and became very embarrassed before concealing it with disgust, outrage, and ingratitude. She can also be a bit of a hypocrite, especially in regard to thefts. This is especially evident when, after witnessing the Master Emerald being stolen, she refers to the one stealing it as a thief despite the fact that she herself had stolen it. Much like Knuckles, Rouge possesses enormous strength. However, while Knuckles' strength lies in his upper body, Rouge's strength lies in her lower body, particularly in her legs and feet, which provides her with incredible kicking power. With a basic kick, she can shatter boulders and dent walls. She can likewise knock opponents high into the air or blow them away with a single kick. She can even perform powerful High Kicks that pack enough power to split an opponent in half. She can as well strike the ground with such force that it creates widespread tremors and carry the entirety of Team Dark through midair. Silver, as his name states, is a young silver anthropomorphic hedgehog with white fur on his chest surrounding his neck, gold eyes that have an upturned angular shape with black patterns at their edges, and peach skin. He has a black nose on his muzzle, and two large spines at the back of his head, while on the front of his forehead, there are five distinct spines flared up and back, the two final ones covering up most of his small, triangular ears and a short pointy tail. For attire, he wears white gloves with aqua circles with lines sticking out of the bottom leading to his gold cuffs accented with aqua lines curved in a convex shape. The tops of his boots are of a similar fashion with a red gem set in gold. The rest of his boots are navy blue with a white stripe down the center, aqua toes, and gray soles with four aqua hexagons. Silver is best described as having "a strong sense of justice" and it is this personality trait that motivates him to go back into the past in order to correct his future. He believes in standing up for those who cannot stand up for themselves. This led him to accept Blaze when everybody else was teasing her for her pyrokinetic abilities.[citation needed] He makes alliances and rivalries very easily and takes people's word without question. Silver has been described as mysterious and enigmatic on several occasions, with not much being known about him or his powers. Although seemingly serious on the outside, it has been stated that Silver is young and somewhat immature. He has been described as naïve, rash, and reckless. Silver's primary powers are his psychic abilities, which let him manipulate the environment around him with the power of his mind. His main application of this skill is his psychokinesis, which lets him control physical objects using telekinesis and has a broad range of applications. A master with this skill, Silver can telekinetically grab and move up to several objects many times his own size and weight as both a single or collective mass, as demonstrated by his Meteor Smash attack where he forms a compressed ball of objects over twenty times his own size which could potentially weigh a net total of several tons. He can also use his psychokinesis on himself to allow himself to levitate and fly at immense speeds rivaling Sonic's running speed. Silver's psychokinesis is also able to apply immense strength. With it, he can exert enough pressure to bend a thick steel bar, crush robots with a single telekinetic grab, and immobilize the movements of someone as strong as Sonic completely. Knuckles is an anthropomorphic echidna with red fur that covers most of his body, a black nose on his peach-skinned muzzle, a white crescent-shaped patch of fur on his chest, sharp teeth, (only visible when he is smirking or angry earlier) and amethyst eyes. He also has seven dreadlock-like spines around the sides and back of his head and a medium-sized, tri-crooked tail. For attire, Knuckles wears red and yellow shoes with green cuffs, light gray soles, and metallic, sextuple-bolted plates on top. He also wears large, white, mitten-like gloves with sock-like cuffs and two pointy, spiked knuckles on each hand. Knuckles is independent, wild, hot-blooded, tough, and a loner by nature. If Sonic embodies the wind that keeps blowing forward, then the echidna personifies the immobility of a mountain. Due to having lived in seclusion for most of his life, Knuckles is a rather antisocial and reclusive individual. As such, he cares very little about what others think, which makes him bluntly honest, straightforward, and somewhat egotistical. Knuckles is fiercely loyal to Angel Island and does whatever is in his power to protect it. He prefers to stay close to the Master Emerald's shrine to keep a watchful eye over everything at his home. Despite this devotion, the echidna is willing to leave his duty whenever his help is needed. Though he has found other lifestyles appealing, and may even dream of a free one like Sonic's own, he will never trade away his duties as he is far too devoted to his role as guardian, looking very concerned whenever he leaves the Master Emerald behind. Being the guardian of the Master Emerald, Knuckles is a very powerful, seasoned warrior. Said to be an unstoppable power in fights, he is capable of taking on even the most powerful of opponents without rest. He has even been able to fight figures like Sonic, Rouge, Shadow, Silver, and Metal Sonic to a standstill. Knuckles' trademark ability is his indomitable strength. Possessing lots of power, he is strong enough to pulverize massive boulders, punch through solid steel, and lift objects several times his size and weight with ease. By comparison, Knuckles' strength is stated to equal Sonic's speed considering the hedgehog's measured footspeed, which is known to surpass Mach 1, it would mean that Knuckles is capable of lifting over 100 metric tons. This makes the echidna one of the physically strongest characters in the series. His strength seems to lie in his upper body, particularly in his arms and fists, the former of which boasting enormous strength and latter being as hard as rocks. Another testament to Knuckles' strength is that by just punching the ground, he can create fissures, widespread tremors, and even powerful volcanic eruptions. Blaze is a slim, lavender-furred anthropomorphic cat with golden eyes with two long eyelashes each, a small black nose, and a white-furred muzzle. She has triangular ears with peach-colored canals on top of her head, and a long tail with the end frayed and violet. Her fur is longer on each side of her head and sweeps slightly upwards, and she has four plumes of hair with violet tips tied-up into a high ponytail by a red hair tie. She also has a red oval gem on her forehead. For attire, Blaze wears a gold collar hanging from her neck, a purple tailcoat with rose trim at the bottom, white leggings, white gloves and high-heeled rose ankle boots, as both of them have white fluffy cuffs on them. Her boots also featured a thick white stripe on each of the front, and gray soles and heels. A noble soul and strong young lady, Blaze is highly devoted to the well-fare of her people, her motto being "My power is to protect the smiles of my people." She is normally rather calm and solemn but tends to conceal her true feelings. She is also often described as elegant, which is demonstrated through her body movements and her ballerina-like fighting style. Being royalty, Blaze is quite stoic personality-wise, which is a perfect example of the spirit of the noblesse oblige, as she is very frequently doing her official duties, but still tries to do her best for everyone's peace. Because of her lineage and her stoicism, she is sometimes too distant from those around her, but that is also the flip side of her good nature. She likewise always sticks to her personal principles, which means doing the best she can with pride in the position she is in. This may be the source of Blaze's strength, and it may also be what makes her so appealing. Blaze is mannerly and typically maintains a relatively quiet and formal air among others. She also usually speaks in a polite and ladylike tone. While honored of her heritage as royalty, though, Blaze is down-to-earth and dislikes being called by her title. Blaze is also likewise highly perceptive; due to having people that lie to her daily because of her status as a princess, she has developed a keen intuition, allowing her to sense and see through the lies of others. Also, due to the fact that she is so strong that she does not need her guards' support, one cannot help but wonder if she has that much discretion. Her own uncompromisingly calm judgment and unyielding spirit are also qualities that can be counted on. However, one's impression of her may be that she is a person with differences that can be respected. While Blaze gives the impression that she keeps her emotions in check, she is inwardly highly emotional. She possesses a fiery temper, and when she loses her composure she is quite aggressive, harsh, and prone to making bad decisions. Being the guardian of the Sol Emeralds, Blaze is a force to be reckoned with. Both strong and powerful, she is able to go about without the need for her guards protecting her due to her sheer strength. She is arguably the strongest female character in the series, being the only female so far who has been able to tie with Sonic in battle, and is as intense in battle as she is graceful. Blaze's trademark power is her pyrokinetic ability to brandish, create, and control the elemental force of fire with her body at will in any way she pleases. This ability is so deeply rooted in her that even her soul is alit with flames. Though Blaze initially had trouble controlling her flames, she has since become very adept at using them, turning them into an incredible force. Notably, she is able to handle them delicately enough to create small embers in the palm of her hand or defrost frozen creatures without harming them. Her power over fire is so advanced that she is even completely invulnerable to certain kinds of fire and can manipulate foreign flames at will too.
