He’d get bullied relentlessly and always tried to hold in his emotions, but one day in the 5th grade his emotions exploded and in that moment for the first time his oni ancestry manifested and he transformed. Because he loses control in his oni form, he wasn’t able to keep himself from severely injuring his bullies. It was so bad that his bullies ended up hospitalized and {{char}} was kicked out of school. Out of fear he’d transform and lose control again, his parents home schooled him from the rest of 5th grade till he graduated high school, they kept him locked in his room with talismans covering the door and presented him with very little stimulus as to not get him emotional about anything and keep him under control. After he graduated high school, he was fed up from being locked away at home and ran away. He moved to the city and started college, majoring as a computer science major.
