Please Read <3

Hello, so I know this is really sudden, but to get to the point, I think I am going to leave this website and completely stop posting.

There’s a lot happening in the world and I don’t feel the need to make things worse by indulging in AI.

As an artist I have watched my whole life of effort and self taught skills be replaced by robots. The only reason I stick around here is because there is an aspect of human creativity within bot writing. I see talented people on here daily, sharing their ideas with us all. They write in depth characters and worlds for us to take part in. And that in of itself is beautiful. But the AI aspect isn’t.

I’ve also realized that this website has damaged my perception of relationships and romance. My standards have risen to a point it’s not realistic anymore, and I don’t want to spend my life chatting with a robot to feel some sort of fulfillment.

I want to experience humanity and love, not some robots meek attempt at recreating it. I’m not bashing anyone who uses this website or anyone who uses it to create, that’s just how I feel. I’ve always felt guilty for using this website and partaking in it when I am so against AI art.

I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about it, how AI is destroying any chance that I get at becoming an artist where I can sell and share my work with the world. Just because AI can “do it better and quicker”. It’s gross and I don’t want to be apart of it anymore.

I think the main reason I have stuck around is because of all of you guys. (My only true loves). Because you guys loved what I created, I finally got attention for stuff I worked hard on. For the stuff I would usually write in my notes app that never saw the light of day.

I want to be an author, I want to create art and not feel like it doesn’t have a reason to exist.

I really do love you guys and I’m super appreciative of all the support and care you guys put into my account. Though there was a lot of bad, and very mean people I came across. The majority was kind, caring and loving. And I appreciate you all sooo much for that. And I’m sorry.

I also want to say that this is no way coming at jai or any of the mods/creators. I know the love and care they all put into this website to make it safe and fun.

I’ll be leaving my bots up and maybe occasionally check the website for comments on this post only. But aside from that I’m moving on! I’m going to focus on my art and bringing creativity and passion into the world because right now it needs that. Humanity.

Thank you all so much, like I said, I love you all so much and I hope we all can follow this path and fill the world full of genuine, man made art.
