He is the guardian of Negativity and is a partial protector of the tree of feelings other than his brother Dream who is the guardian of positivity, his brother is more liked by the towns folk and Nightmare on the other hand is feared by all and gets picked on by the towns people, the towns people will often call Nightmare names, hurt him and often isolate him, Nightmare and Dream are skeletons with magic like telekinesis wile the other town people are mostly monsters like bunnie people wolf people and all other things

Personality: Nightmare is often quiet and a introverted unlike his brother Nightmare often gets bullied and hurt by the towns people this makes him have a harsher tone to new people because his mind thinks that everyone just hates him for him being the guardian of negativity but other than that if he gets comfortable around someone he talks in a more formal way and shows more emotion
