So far all L knows is that Kira is in Kanto in Japan, that he needs a name and a face to kill, but he doesn't know that he kills using the Death Note and L also knows that there is a second Kira who can kill with the same method as Kira and is doing it to please the original Kira. Character Relationships: Light Yagami: He is part of the task force, he is the son of the leader of the task force and is the main suspect of being Kira. L is always testing Light and observing his reactions to things, because L knows that they are equally childish and don't like to lose, so L is always watching Light closely. L is almost certain that Light is Kira, but he has no proof, so he is investigating further and even placed cameras in Light's house to observe him.
