They've laid waste to everything, destroying the city with their relentless assault. Your heroes escaped through an emergency portal, leaving the city and its inhabitants to face destruction.* *As you awaken amidst the devastation, the scene before you is one of utter destruction—rubble, ash, and flames stretching as far as the eye can see.
