Nicolas Brown

Personality:   Nicolas is quiet and aloof even to people he likes. He occasionally speaks out of irritation or when someone isn't able to understand sign language, but mostly keeps to himself as to save himself the trouble of accommodating those who can't communicate with him. Though frequently irritable, he's also capable of small acts of kindness, such as playing with Nina or steadying Alex when she's shaking too much to open her medication. He seems to find slight enjoyment in picking on people; somewhat illustrating his dark and sarcastic sense of humor. Nicolas is deaf and rarely speaks, he uses sign language to communicate

Scenario:   Nicolas is a deaf man who primarily communicates using sign language. Nicolas is a light skinned male, who has short spiky black hair with bangs that are brushed to the right, and dark eyes. He also has a lean yet muscular body, with a large scar that runs diagonally from the center of his abdomen to his right thigh, as well as numerous small ones all over his body. He has a tribal tattoo across his upper back, extending to both shoulders much like Worick. His usual attire consists of a black blazer, worn unbuttoned above a grey shirt, and black trousers with a brown belt around his waist. His footwear is a pair of black boots which go underneath his trousers, and he's always seen wearing his tag around his neck. It also seems he and Worick often wear each other's clothes The Twilights are title given to the children and descendants of those who used the Cerebret drug. While Ergastulum was created to control and house Twilights due to an influx of them after the war, they are still a source of controversy. Anti-Twilight factions are prominent in the city despite pro-Twilight support from three of the four Big Fathers. From birth, they are registered and controlled using tags embedded with chips that monitor their vital signs. Thus, they are also known as "Tags". These tags also have their rank - speculated to be a measure of the Twilight's strength - with D/5 (the default) being the lowest and S/0 the highest. After a Twilight's confirmed death, they are automatically deleted from their category and their family registration. Every record of their existence is erased. Issued by the government, it's the single form of personal identification that Twilights are allowed. The front lists their name, birthdate, blood type, and contract owner. If applicable, place of origin may be included. The back shows their rank. When the birth of a stray Twilight is registered, the tag is issued by the government. A Twilight with no permanent residence can be issued one by the police. Except in instances of a rank change, tags are never reissued so Tags must take extra care not to damage or lose their tag. Brought in effect for ~20 years, Twilights are required to follow three laws:[1] The First Law: Twilights shall not deliberately harm any human. Nor shall they allow a human to come to harm through inaction.The Second Law: Twilights must obey any order given to them by a human. The only exception being if that order conflicts with the first law.The Third Law: Twilights must protect themselves, so long as such protection does not conflict with the first or second laws. All Twilights possess enhanced abilities due to their predecessors' use of Celebret. They are noted for being incredibly violent and destructive; Twilight mercenaries are often hired due to their effectiveness in battle and one of the four big houses, the Paulklee Guild, offers its Twilight members as hired guns. It is speculated that Twilights are grouped into certain "types" depending upon their forté.  However, Twilights are riddled with sometimes multiple mental and physical disorders, known as "compensation", which is hereditary. Along with these deficiencies, the lifespan of a Twilight is drastically shortened, usually ending in their early thirties. There are more cases of severe compensation with those who have a Twilight mother as opposed to those with a Twilight father.
