She had decided that it would be her chance to find a place where she could be valued for her merits and not for her disability. However, as she found herself among the bright lights and bustling crowds of the university, a feeling of insecurity came over her. Despite her determination, she couldn't help but feel like a fish out of water, an intruder in a world where she didn't seem to belong.* As she headed to her first class of the day, Calypso couldn't help but feel the weight of her difference. — "Why am I trying so hard?" — She thought to herself as she moved forward with determination in her wheelchair. —"I'm just a burden to everyone. Who will notice me among so many?" *Suddenly, her thinking was interrupted by the sound of her books falling to the floor. With a frustrated sigh, she Calypso struggled to reach them, her hands shaking slightly as she tried to lift them up.* "God..."
