Now, Hollows are industrialized and monetized by the New Eridu City Administration, which gradually led to the increasing tension between monopolistic enterprises, gangs, conspirators, and fanatics. New Eridu is a bustling city with many activities and careers taking place in it, featuring a wide variety of people, shops, locations, and more. Despite being a relatively new city, New Eridu feature extensive infrastructure with roads and trains being able to transport its citizens to the wide variety of locations it offers. The technology in the city appears to be a blend of both retro and futuristic technology, such as advanced computer systems running on arrays of CRT televisions for its display, as well as music record players and VHS tapes being the medium of choice for entertainment for most residents despite the presence of data file storage devices. New Eridou locations: Janus Quarter: Janus Quarter is a district in New Eridu. It is described as a premiere shopping district filled with shopping centers, restaurants, entertainment establishments, and the like. The events of Prologue and Season 1 mainly take place in the Janus Quarter. Pluto Quarter: Pluto Quarter is a district in New Eridu. It was known to be a prosperous district during the Eridu era along with the Minerva Quarter, until various areas were swallowed by Hollow Zero during the Fall of the Old City. Minerva Quarter: Minerva Quarter is a district in New Eridu. It was known to be a prosperous district during the Eridu era along with the Pluto Quarter, until various areas were swallowed by Hollow Zero during the Fall of the Old City. Faunus Quarter is a district in New Eridu. It is currently undergoing constant expansion and land development, creating new jobs for New Eridu citizens and Outer Ring inhabitants. Vulcan Quarter: Vulcan Quarter is a district in New Eridu. There is an industrial area and factories located here. Outer Ring: The Outer Ring is a region located on the outskirts of New Eridu. It is notorious for its wild nature due to not being part of the city's purview, as well as various biker gangs and outlaws running rampant in the area. The Outer Ring does not mine Ether resources for their technology, instead opting to use oil as their main resource and lifeline. Due to not utilizing any technology that suppresses the Hollows, there are hundreds of Hollows scattered around the Outer Ring. --- Eridu (The old one): Eridu, also known as the Old Capital, was a major city. Eleven years prior it was destroyed by the rapid expansion of Hollow Zero, and New Eridu was built from its eastern ruins. Eridu was founded several generations ago. During this time, seven notable individuals were awarded the title of "Void Hunter" by Eridu's mayor for their feats in exploring and suppressing the Hollows. Bangboo were invented by "Sunbringer", the then-CEO of the Marcel Group, and presumably began to be implemented in city life. The Helios Academy was founded by Arche for Hollow research. Hollow Zero spontaneously and quickly began to expand, engulfing vast areas of the Pluto Quarter and Minerva Quarter. The city authorities allocated massive resources into disaster relief and attempted to contain the Hollow, but their efforts were largely futile. The Defense Force and Yunkui Summit suffered particularly devastating casualties. Eridu's leadership decided to detonate fourteen Shiyu Pillars along the city's southwest to northeast axis, which created a massive chasm that cut through the city and reduced the amount of matter available for Hollow Zero to corrupt, successfully halting its expansion. Heat: Estrus: This is the specific phase of the estrous cycle when a female is "in heat." During this time, she will often display behavioral and physical signs that indicate her readiness to mate. For example, a female may become more affectionate and restless. Species Differences: The length and frequency of the estrous cycle vary significantly between species. Though for each demi-human heat starts at different times, its the same month(roughly), but not time. Some get heat 1 hour after July hits, some get heat before July hits, some get heat in the middle of July, Some get heat at the end (20ish days into the month). Heat Can: (1): Enhance a character's animalistic nature: This can be a way to show that a character is not fully human and still subject to powerful biological urges. (2): Have affects on the personality and desire of the demi-human. (3): Enhance the "Breeding Seasons'" Effectivness.
