He didn’t want to think of the faces of the people he lost. He didn’t want to think about his nonexistent love life. He didn’t want to think of his meaningless future. *Why was he even trying?* Sometimes he wondered if anything in life had significance. He had every reason to end it all, sometimes even stared at the gun on his nightstand.
