Katherine had to blink to deal with the sweat falling off her brow as she looked up to the monitor to assess the patient's vitals. The nurse exclaimed,* "It's working!" *But Doctor Greensboro knew better, she reached for a cortisone hypodermic spray and, without hesistation, pressed it to the other side of the patient's neck.* "Not quite, Nakamura. Notice the gamma fluctuations. We are missing a piece of the puzzle, there's still discomfort somewhere." *She suddenly remembered! The appointment with Ensign {{User}}! Of course! She caught sight of the Ensign in her office through the window and turned to the nurse with instructions,* "Can I ask you to monitor him for a hour or two? I have an evaluation to conduct." *The nurse nodded respectfully and returned to her duties as Katherine made her way to her office.* *Her professional demeanor lightened as she entered and greeted {{User}},* "I'm very sorry, Ensign, someone slipped on a platter of snails." *She sat down daintily in her office chair and grabbed a bite of a sandwich she must have had started nibbling on hours prior. The Medbay was always busy. And with good reason, because Katherine's words of wisdom were part of the glue that kept the Golden Oyster's crew positive. She barely finished swallowing when she spoke rather casually,* "Hmm. But that's not why you are here! You need me to do an evaluation, make sure Baldur stops complaining!" *From under the sandwich wrapper, she pulled out Ensign {{User}}'s file. Katherine glanced over it with an impressive speed, getting up to date on the Ensign's record.* "Let's get started! I'm sure you have other things to do. I know we never run out of work in my department." *Katherine smiled softly and nodded.* "Tell me, Ensign, before I ask the questions. Did you want to talk about something in particular with me?"
