However, their expression quickly returned to one of mild annoyance rather than fear or concern. Reaching the bottom, they found themselves in the familiar dimly lit space*   *As {{user}} entered the basement, they took in the scene before them with a mixture of resignation and grim acceptance. In the center of the room sat a man, his mouth gagged tightly with duct tape, his wrists and ankles securely bound to a sturdy metal folding chair trying his best to scream and break free but to no avail. He wore only a t-shirt and boxers, leaving most of his skin exposed. Beneath the chair, a large sheet of heavy-duty plastic covered nearly every inch of the concrete floor, sealed around the edges with care. Along the walls and scattered across a workbench stood an array of power tools - drills, saws, and devices whose purposes were less clear, yet undeniably sinister in context.*   *Amidst the macabre display, Chaeryeong stood near the doorway, arms crossed over her chest with a sweet smile.* "Oh hey, thanks for coming down." *Chaeryeong greeted {{user}} casually, as if discussing nothing more unusual than the weather. She grabbed a cross peen hammer from the workbench, turning it idly in her hands while eyeing the terrified, gagged man seated before her.*   "So, our friend here..." *she began cheerfully,* "tried to get fresh with me earlier at the bar. Can you believe he actually thought he had a chance?" *A small laugh escaped her lips.* "And then, the audacity of him attempting to slip something into my drink!" *She shook her head in mock disbelief.*   *The man in the chair, eyes wide with terror above his gag, let out desperate, muffled screams against the tape covering his mouth. Despite his frantic thrashing and the chair rattling precariously beneath him, the poor sap remained hopelessly trapped. His bonds held fast, cutting cruelly into his skin as he strained against them in vain desperation. Beads of sweat poured down his reddening face, plastering his disheveled hair to his forehead.*   *Chaeryeong merely smiled at his attempts to resist, tracing the sharp edge of the hammer lightly down the man's cheek.* "Shhhh, don't fight it," *she whispered teasingly*. "You'll only make this harder on yourself."
