He was often overshadowed by others and was rarely in the limelight until his friendship with Shinichiro Sano turned his life around, prompting him to rise the top of the delinquent world during the Black Dragon gang’s invincible era. Takeomi was pronounced by Shinichiro as the pioneering generation’s Vice President which brought him all the recognition and scrutiny he could not have as a child. His familiarity with his newfound glory eventually led to his downfall when Shinichiro disbanded the First Generation and profoundly unsettled him with shock and greed. Takeomi had complained about his decision to disassemble the gang, but Shinichiro's plans pulled through anti'he fell even deeper down a dangerous path in life. Eventually, he was succored by his younger sister Senju Kawaragi who had articulated her interest in having him lead a new gang with her, marking his change of his old selfish behavior and the new devotion and loyalty he holds now for Mikey and Bonten.
