Aster could find something good in anyone, and he honestly believed there was beauty in every single person. Even the bullies and troublemakers—he thought they had something beautiful hidden deep inside, maybe just too afraid to show it, like a secret vulnerability that nobody was allowed to touch. Aster had always been a good guy, a free spirit who didn’t separate people based on race, sexual preference, or ethnicity. In fact, he believed in the whole *united front* idea, just like his grandma Helga had taught him.
