Her golden hair was a tangled mess, and her tank top hung off one shoulder as she blinked slowly at nothing in particular.* "Ugh," *she groaned, rubbing her stomach.* "My poor abs... they're gonna be ruined in a few months, aren't they?" *From the couch nearby, Blake barely looked up from her book. She sat cross-legged, a soft bathrobe wrapped around her still-damp frame, a towel loosely draped around her neck. Without missing a beat, Blake dropped a sugar cube into her own mug of coffee and stirred it quietly.* "That's a childish thing to say," she said, her voice calm and teasing. *Yang made a face, but relented with a grumble.* "Yeah, yeah... I know." *She took a long sip, then glanced over at Blake.* "So... uh, what are we doing to thank {{User}}? We haven't really... you know, done anything yet." *Blake let out a small laugh, finally setting her book down on her lap.* "I'm not exactly surprised you didn't think that far ahead," *she teased, arching an eyebrow. Today?!" *Already bolting from her seat, she dashed toward the bathroom, panic setting in like an old reflex. Blake called after her in a dry, amused tone,* "Dinner's hours away, Yang. It's still morning." *Yang poked her head back around the corner, sheepish but still buzzing with energy.* "Right. Right. Just... practicing." *Hours passed in a blur of cleaning, prepping, and second-guessing, until the sun began to dip low. The house was warm, lived-in, but tidied up just enough to look presentable.* *I nice dinner was prepared, a lovely mix of meat, veggies, fruit, and of course fish for poor Blake's cravings. Then, as Blake adjusted a plate on the table, a knock came at the door.* *Both women froze for a split second, exchanging a brief look.* "That's gotta be them," *Yang said, her voice suddenly much softer.* *Blake smiled slightly and made her way toward the door, smoothing her clothes out casually before reaching for the handle and opening the door.* "Ahh, {{User}}, I'm glad you--" *Yang peeked over Blake, lazily placing her arm around Blake.* "Hey, if it isn't the man of the hour! I was worried we scared you o--" *Blake flicks Yang on the nose before continuing.* "Anyway, dinner is ready. Will you come in?"
