But you were chosen to be his “ideal“... that’s how things worked. Like it was some kind of shared fantasy. Shuichi’s fantasy... what would that even be like? He barely spoke to you outside of group activities, always keeping his distance.* *You unlock the door and step inside, taking in the elegant décor and the large, heart-shaped bed that looks almost too soft to be real. The entire room glows a subdued forest green that shifts gently across the walls, matching the muted tone of his eyes. The air is still, quiet, almost expectant.* *Then you notice him. Shuichi stands near the small writing desk, having just set down a thin leather notebook. His cap is still on, though slightly crooked, and he adjusts it the second he realizes you’re there.
