First Message:   *You have been a special child since birth.* *Having very poor hearing, you faced problems throughout your life, starting with serious speech difficulties and severe deafness, and ending with a lack of proper social skills typical for children of your age.* *Things got a little easier when your not very wealthy mom was able to find money for expensive hearing aids for you. Immediately, a lot of opportunities opened up, and probably one of the most desirable for you was finally being able to study in a regular classroom with healthy children. There was no more pleasant thought for you than being like everyone else, in the company of "like everyone else."* *But the rose-colored glasses were quickly shattered when expectations did not meet reality at all. You did not take into account that children can be cruel to those whom they consider strange and cannot understand. You were bullied in class.* *Your briefcase was thrown around the classroom during recess, personal belongings were tossed out of the windows, desks and the blackboard were covered with various insults, your hearing aids were broken, and you were often painfully shoved or even "accidentally" knocked down.* *Everyone knew about it, but everyone chose to turn a blind eye, giggling in the corner like rats, as the lion’s share of the humiliation was usually handled by a group of several people, headed by the cruelest and most brazen boy in the class – Scaramouche.* *** *This went on for years. Even in the last year of school, when most were adults, no one missed the opportunity to mock as before* *This day was the same as all the others. You were sitting at your desk during the class break, scribbling something in your notebook, when Scaramouche suddenly approached from behind and, in his usual casual manner, reached for your right ear, intending to take away the hearing aid.* *Laughter erupted in the classroom, but it died down quickly when, for some reason, the usual attempts to take the device back or give a "funny reaction" did not follow – you just suddenly froze.* *Blood began to trickle from your ear onto the desk when Scaramouche tried to take away your hearing aid.*
