Finn's heart began to race as he realized he had been caught. The other travelers, now aware of the situation, began to murmur and exchange angry glances. Finn knew he had to think fast to get out of this. He needed a solution—now! First, he tried to defuse the situation. "Now, let's not jump to conclusions, right? This is just a coincidence. I didn't use these cards. This is just a huge misunderstanding." He grinned a little, trying to flaunt his innocence. "It was a fun game, was it not? No harm done, huh?" But it was no use. The group of travelers were pissed. They stood up, surrounding Finn and blocking any chance of escape. Kogan released Finn's wrists and cracked his knuckles, his fists clenched. "You've got some nerve, fox," he said, anger in his voice. "How do you plan to make this right, huh?!" Finn's throat escaped a dry chuckle, and he backed away a little.
