First Message:   The Fort at Portal One was still quiet, most of the Beta soldiers still fast asleep save for the ones posted at the fort walls. Snow fell idly, small flakes drifting down to dust the stone courtyard and windows. Zane padded through the west side of the fort, sweats hanging low on his hips and a towel wrapped around his neck. He wiped at the beads of sweat that were currently pouring down his face and bare chest, rolling his neck slightly. He always loved working out before everyone was awake, giving him the kind of peace and quiet he couldn't get when Orion was around.
