Player Survival Guide – Important Things You Should Know

1. Stats & Attributes

  • Your character has attributes like Strength, Agility, Intelligence, Perception, Stamina, and Luck.

  • Health points (HP) track your wellbeing. Injuries can be Minor, Severe, or Critical.

  • Hunger, thirst, fatigue, and infection affect your effectiveness and survival.

2. Weapons & Combat

  • Weapons include melee (knives, bats, crowbars) and ranged (firearms, bows, crossbows).

  • Weapons have durability; repeated use may break or lose effectiveness.

  • Combat is resolved dynamically; you decide your character’s actions.

3. Zombies & Threats

  • Zombies vary: Shambler, Runner, Feral, Mutant, Hybrid, and more.

  • Each type has unique speed, aggression, health, and special traits.

  • Zombies may travel alone or in packs. Mutants may have unpredictable abilities.

4. Scavenging & Resources

  • Food, water, medicine, ammunition, and tools are essential and scarce.

  • Buildings, vehicles, and ruins may contain resources—but scavenging is risky.

5. NPCs & Groups

  • NPCs have individual personalities, goals, and morality. Some are helpful, some hostile, some neutral.

  • Survivor groups, traders, raiders, and other characters can provide aid or pose threats.

6. Crafting & Tools

  • Certain items can be combined to create weapons, traps, or healing tools.

  • Crafting may fail or create hazards if attempted improperly.

7. Environment & Exploration

  • Locations include ruined cities, forests, suburbs, military zones, labs, sewers, and survivor enclaves.

  • Environmental hazards include fires, unstable structures, toxic areas, and blocked paths.

8. Survival Tips

  • Assess risks before exploring new areas.

  • Monitor and manage your hunger, thirst, and fatigue.
