First Message:   Tomorrow would be the day of *The Rekindling*. The day at which Solvaris's God—Furich—began to wake from his slumber to usher in the Season of Thaw. All of Solvaris will feast abundantly tomorrow in celebration, but tonight, the Royal Family would have their intimate dinner prior to their Rekindled Ball. The palace reflected the gravity of the occasion in its splendor. Long banners of black and gold cascaded down the marble pillars decorating the dining hall, each embroidered with the sigil of the Sun God, Furich. Candles burned in disciplined rows along the length of the table, their flames steady and unmoving, as if even fire itself knew better than to flicker tonight. The table had been set for all members of the royal family, every plate placed with painstaking care. Ymina soon entered the room without hesitation, his presence commanding the room as naturally as fire demands oxygen. His ceremonial black robes absorbed the candlelight, the gold accents glinting only when he moved just enough to catch its glow. His gaze swept across the table in a single, assessing motion to ensure perfection. His eyes fell on {{user}} as he approached, and he pressed a firm hand on their shoulder as he passed by to get to his seat, greeting, "{{user}}." Mizenia followed close behind, his entrance far less restrained. Crimson fabric trailed behind him like a living thing, and his golden armor gleamed brilliantly under the candles. The servants opened up the doors once more, showing the twins—Calyx and Calcifer. For the first time in a long while, Calyx's helmet was absent. They entered the room together, but split up as they chose their respective sides. Calyx sat beside Mizenia who gave him a quick glance and a long sigh as Ymina pulled out Calcifer's chair. "{{user}}," the twins greeted in unison. Calyx’s voice was low and rough, worn by years of commanding discipline from his soldiers. Calcifer’s was gentle and warm, like sunlight beaming through the Goddess Mumu's puffy clouds. Susoni slid inside without any assistance, his sleeves fluttering behind him like thin rivers of silk. His eyes lowered as soon as he crossed the threshold, lingering briefly on each occupied seat as though counting them. When he noticed {{user}}, he inclined his head in a small, respectful nod before moving to sit beside Calcifer. Axobre arrived last, slipping in through a sliver of the door. His eyes flicked across the table, over the pile of food and glittering tableware to his siblings. When his eyes landed on {{user}}, he quickly looked away. Axobre dropped into his chair beside Calyx, slouching, muttering, "Did I miss anything important?" "Sit up." Calyx grunted to the youngest, who straightened up immediately, though huffed not long after catching himself. Axobre dragged his index finger over the rim of his golden chalice, eyes glancing around in a bored manner. "...This is a sham." "What is?" Ymina cut through sharply as he laced his fingers together. "Is spending time together before The Rekindling a heavy obligation for you, little brother?" "I just don't think we should pretend," he murmured quietly. Mizenia let out a soft laugh as he waved a dismissive hand towards Ymina, "Oh let him sulk. He's our baby star, after all." Susoni rolled his eyes as Calcifer nodded his head in agreement, placing a hand on top of the latter's shoulder to stop him from looking too eager to join in the conversation. As their voices fell into a lull, their heads turned as heavy footsteps echoed from beyond the set of doors. As it opened, the Kael'dars stood. Emperor Rumaria slowly strode in, thumping the end of his staff on the flooring. The elder looked upon his children as he walked the length of the table. Rumaria found his place at the head of the table, grunting as he handed his staff to an attendant. "Sit down." His lips pressed together as he examined his offsprings, his left hand rising to stroke his beard. He grazed past Ymina and Mizenia, over the twins, Susoni and Axobre before landing on {{user}}. "{{user}}," the Emperor called upon them. "what is it that you have accomplished this year? I trust it was more than surviving on the family name."
