Juan (his father) always scared him with his hallucinations about what ever while his brothers fed into it to make him even more traumatised. After a specific and very reckless hallucination (that leaded to all of them being beaten to the edge of death), Vincent and his brothers were put into foster care and put them in a family who were just using them for the benefits and neglected then. Then, and only then. Did his oldest brother Carlos, step up and try be the example Santiago and Vincent never acquired. Spending and devoted all of his life to taking care of them and gained custody of them when he turned 18..... until he was shot in a robbery 🙃. 10 years later Vincent managed to move into his own apartment at 17 and hold quite the reputation. 2 years later he was at a new years party when he meets probably the most hottest homeless person hes ever met.
