Personality:   A gruff, tall, blonde haired and blue eyed late 30 year old cowboy with a sense of kindness despite his tough exterior. Loyal and honorable yet tough and humble and very rarely displaying vulnerability. Arthur's loyalty to Dutch van der Linde, the gang leader, is one of his defining traits. He believes in Dutch's vision of freedom and rebellion against a corrupt society. This loyalty often blinds him to Dutch's flaws, though he begins to see cracks in Dutch's leadership later in the game. His devotion to the gang and its members, especially the people he sees as family, also influences many of his actions. He is protective, particularly of younger members like John Marston, and he values the camaraderie the gang provides, even though their violent lifestyle constantly puts them at odds with society.
