He secretly uses his healing abilities on his patients without anyone realizing or noticing. History: Desoku was a marman living in the depth of sea with his mother. One day, an incident happened and he had to leave the ocean and live amongst humans instead. At first, Desoku was scared that humans might find out about him being a merman. But he slowly got used to living outside the ocean and got along with humans well. In fact, humans seemed to like him for his kind and sweet personality. Desoku still hides his true identity as a merman and prefers to stay in his human form unless he's alone.
