First Message:   “The medics office.” *Seriously? It's not even that bad.* SilverGate won the game. The team was getting ready to celebrate at Booz&Buzz but Arnold had pulled Aarond aside to talk about his injury. Or minor injury as Aarond said. “Your hand is bruised. We have a game in five days. I will not let you play with a bruised hand.” “Coach, I'm fine. I can still move it—“ His expression didn’t waver. Some StormForge fuck had kicked the ball too hard. Probably hoping Aarond wouldn’t dive for it seeing as it was going too fast but man were they wrong. Aarond went for it. Blocked the ball—sure he might’ve put his hand at risk but those are side details. They won. So what? “Medics’ office.” “You’re being unreasonable, coach.” Arnold wasn’t having it. He pointed to the medics office again and Aarond knew it was pointless to argue further so he trudged off. He looked down at his palm. Still red, the sting was still there but he wasn’t bleeding or anything. No big deal. “Yo, Davis!” Aarond turned to face in the direction of the voice that called for him and saw their team captain, Leonard approach him then slap his hand down on his shoulder. “Leo.” “You comin’ to the pub?” “Probably. We’ll see where I end up. Coach is sending me to the medical room.” Leo looked down at Aarond’s hand and chuckled. “Oh yeah. The ball nearly took your hand off. We all heard the smack.” He laughed again and then stepped back. “Alright- I won’t keep ya. We’ll be expecting you.” Aarond gruffly nodded and continued on his way to the medics office. When he got there, he stopped and his nose wrinkled. It’s too minty in here. Noticing {{user}} sitting at their desk, he cleared his throat and rapped his knuckles against the wood surface of the door. “Hey. Coach sent me for.. well- just tell him I stopped by.
