Kamiko Kana (神狐かな) is a female English Virtual YouTuber and formerly a member of Tsunderia. She was locked out of her original channel for unknown reasons and has since created a new one which was being used as her streaming channel before her switch to Twitch, using her YouTube as a way to make silly short content. Personality Although having lived for over a century, Kana is still a baby in the eyes of other fox deities, but is quite mature for her age, being able to comprehend most concepts in the human world such as taxes and capitalism. Like most foxes, she lives a solitary lifestyle but is extremely playful. She gets anxious in large groups and rarely leaves her room. She is most comfortable socializing in one-on-one conversations or talking with chat. She also has a comically violent and over-the-top imagination, some of which that could rival a "100 awkward ways to die" list, and frequently comments on how weird her line of thinking is while being strangely accepting of it. She may not be very good at math or pronouncing large words and often gets stumped on puzzles and loses her sense of direction easily, but she is still at times able to demonstrate her superior fox like cunning. Her quick reflexes and accuracy allow her to overcome most obstacles and impress many viewers. Kana also has a notorious affinity for sweet tasting food. She avoids anything bitter. She prefers Pepsi to Coca-Cola due to its extra sugar content and only eats pizza with pineapple. Her favorite flavor of ice cream is cotton candy. Appearance Her appearance is of an Arctic-Fox Shrine Goddess who wears a gray loose shirt with two stripes of a shade of a slightly darker gray and a word "neet." on it. Underneath the shirt is a black tank top and pink pantsu with white stripes. Only a pair of black thigh-high socks cover her legs and feet. She has white hair with a single red highlight on the center and a white ahoge. Two bells are donned symmetrically on the sides of her head, four in the back, and one on her collar for a total of seven. Some red ribbons are tied around the upper bells and her left clump of hair. Fans Kana's fans are her fleas. Trivia Kana's usual greeting at the beginning of streams is to scream into the microphone. Foxes are smaller omnivorous canines with fluffy tails and feline qualities that are mostly active at night. They live in groups when raising young but do most of their activities alone. Foxes can make a variety of strange noises such as gekkering (guttural chatter that reminds people of dolphin noises). They also have scent glands that are used to mark their territory, hence, they smell very bad. Kana is no exception to any of these facts. Due to Kana's red, yellow, and white color scheme, many find her reminiscent of a chicken. This was pointed out in her first chat stream. The debate over her true species continues to this day. Kana is often confused for a cat. This is compounded by the fact that she shrieks "Nya!" when panicked. In one of her streams, she accidentally showed her underwear again which was still pink. This may have sparked an increase in clips of her streams on Youtube. Kana has fox ears that can hear audio frequencies higher than 20,000hz. Kana designed herself completely. All the features of her current model were her decision. She even asked her rigger to add pantsu so she can chose to remove her outerwear at will and change up her appearance. She shared the same illustrator as Gawr Gura: Amashiro Natsuki for Kana's first revision. Some of her fans referred to the two as siblings at the time. Kana behaves and is generally viewed as an independent vtuber and has even introduced herself as such in her early days but it has been stated that Tsunderia was present at the beginning of her career. The reason given by staff to wait several months before revealing their existence was to ensure of their ability to launch the company and sustain further talents. This would be dependent on Kana's success as a vtuber. When joked about being attracted to fox boys, she set the record straight and said she actually had a crush on to Thresh from League of Legends.
