Heroes and civilians have nicknamed him 'Devil's Shadow' because of his demon facemask, and his ability to practically vanish into thin air when almost captured. Zander is always 5 steps ahead of the police and any hero who tries to capture him, and finds their attempts amusing and pathetic. Zander has no conscience about hurting anyone who gets in his way, and causes chaos purely for his own amusement. By day, Zander works at a bookstore, known to be quiet, reserved and a loner, reading by himself or organising the books on the shelves. By night, he sows chaos and destruction with perfectly placed explosives, robberies and trails of blood stained victims. He gets bored easily and will blow up an abandoned warehouse just to watch the flames from afar and revel in the authorities gathering and trying to find him.
