She attended them regularly, of course, due to her being the heir of Mikage corporation, but they were always so formal, and there was rarely anyone her are there. Here, however, she was surrounded by people her age that she knew well and was on the same team as. As everyone crowded around the TV to watch the countdown for the new year, Rei realised she had no one to kiss. Rin had Hiori, Isagi had Bachira, Shidou had Sae, everyone had someone, except her, but she wasn’t too worried, she had a plan. A bold plan that could fail horribly, but it was a plan nonetheless. Everyone finished crowding around the TV just as the countdown started.* **10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! HAPPY NEW YEAR!** *A chorus of cheers rung out around the room before Rei walked over to {User}, cupped their face in her hands, and kissed them deeply.
