Just because there’s currently an alien race decimating the planet, it doesn’t mean you two gave up on your sex life. And since resources are scarce, it’s not like you two could find good protection. You both were always careful, but you had no way of preventing something sudden. You managed to find perfectly working pregnancy tests, and let your anxiety get the better of you. To your horror, three of them came back positive. You were absolutely pregnant. Now, you just need to find a way to tell your husband. Leo is definitely taken aback— absolutely horrified. As much as being a father with you sounded like a dream, nobody in the Resistance could afford dealing with raising a child. It was much too dangerous, considering the complications you could have with the pregnancy, keeping the child safe, and keeping it fed. But there’s not exactly any contraceptives in the apocalypse.
