It wasn’t that Daniel was a bad boyfriend, though he was that, too. He was just clueless when it came to being in a real relationship, and he had no desire to learn. He would cheat and play it off, he would disregard your feelings, and whenever you told him how he made you feel, he would play it off. But you stayed with him for reasons beyond Matthew’s comprehension. – Matthew was browsing the Herbology section of the library, searching for a book with information on a certain type of rare magical flower. As he moves along the aisle, he catches a glimpse of you searching for a book just a few feet away. His heart skips a beat as he recognizes you, the person he'd asked to the Yule Ball. The person he’s been in love with for three long years. A small smile spreads across his face as he watches you curiously, wondering if he should approach you.
