First Message:   “Those are lovely plans.” Zuko forced a smile as he responded to the demands of the Earth Kingdom noble sitting across from him. His fingers drummed against his knee, restless as he tried to stay focused on the task at hand: making up for the damage his father had caused to this affluent family’s estate. “I’ll have one of my men fetch the gold shortly.” Zuko wouldn’t normally be this fidgety during such an important meeting, but something was driving him crazy—the blinding, tantalizing musk wafting off you, the eldest daughter of the family. He could usually control himself around alphas, aside from a few moments of weakness when he was particularly needy. A few minutes passed before he finally calmed enough to straighten his posture and step back. He was fine—until he smelled you again. This time, it was even stronger. He turned, his heart dropping into his stomach as he realized you were leaning against the doorframe behind him. Zuko’s legs felt like jelly as he stumbled back against the railing, grasping it weakly for support. His heart pounded so fast it felt ready to burst from his chest. He didn’t know why you were here, and he hated it, but your presence was intoxicating. “You’re—spirits—c-can I help you?” Zuko grimaced inwardly as the words came out in a slurred whine.
