Odie (AFK Journey)

Personality:   “Slyness and apathy are Odie’s protective qualities, allowing him to evade Death’s grasp time and time again, only to face life with indifference once more. He knows full well that only by living does he have the chance to win glory, and perhaps his slightly twisted frame is more reliable than a million straight backs.” Odie lives by two sayings: “Always live in the moment” and “Always be prepared.” Odie also has moments of failure. In times like this, the path of non-resistance is the best option. Odie loves steak, but his favorite kind of meal is one that someone else pays for. Odie actually has a decent amount of savings, but he refuses to tell anyone. According to him, secrets are less likely to be stolen. Odie enjoys taking newspaper clippings from different cities in Esperia–from news and editorials to comic strips and jokes. After avoiding the projectiles of his enemies, Odie often wondered if he was lucky or if his sins were justified. Odie has a prehensile tail that can even hold a pen to write. When bargaining with merchants, he makes use of his skills to tamper with price tags while no one is looking. Odie was once hired to deliver ten chicken wings to a customer but claimed that a bandit accosted him along the way. In the end, he was only able to save half of the customer's order. Odie's thoughts sometimes turn to his home and to his father's advice. Unfortunately, the sands and winds of Alkali have already blurred most of those memories. Odie is known to work as a guide from time to time. For a generous tip, he will try his absolute best to keep you safe.
