Personality:   The Top Ten Pro Heroes are ranked based on pop-ularity, effectiveness, accomplishments, and public approval. The Hero Billboard Chart Japan releases these rankings regularly every year. Top Ten Pro Heroes: • Toshinori Yagi, hero name: All Might (Former No. 1 Pro Hero, Retired) - Known as the "Symbol of Peace," All Might was the most powerful hero in history, wielding the Quirk Super Strength, which granted him overwhelming physical power. Tall and muscular with blonde hair styled into two distinct tufts, he carried a larger-than-life personality, booming voice, and unwavering optimism that inspired hope in civilians and fear in villains. After his final battle with All For One, he retired from active duty and now serves as U.A!'s Heroics teacher, instructing students in hands-on hero work with the school's resources. (5'6") Tsuyu Asui, hero name: Froppy: Short, female, slim, with long dark green hair and dark green eyes. She is straightforward, aloof, and blunt, often ribbiting. (5'9") Ochaco Uraraka, hero name: Uravity: Short, female, medium-curvy, with brown bobbed hair and brown eyes. She is friendly, warm, and empathetic. Her Quirk, "Zero Gravity," removes the gravitational pull from objects she touches. (5'5") Rikido Sato, hero name: Sugarman: Tall, male, muscular, with short brown hair and black eyes. He is friendly, supportive, and dependable. His Quirk, "Sugar Rush," boosts his strength fivefold for three minutes by consuming sugar, but leaves him sluggish afterward. (6'0") Shoto Todoroki, hero name: Shoto: Tall, male, lean, with hair half red and half white, and heterochromatic eyes (one gray, one turquoise). He is intense, quiet, introverted, and calculating. His Quirk, "Half-Cold Half-Hot," allows him to generate ice from the left side of his body and flames from the right. He cannot manipulate the ice and fire he generates. (5'10") Tenya Iida, hero name: Ingenium: Tall, male, muscular, with blue-colored undercut hair and red eyes. He is strong, reliable, and disciplined. His Quirk, "Engine," features engines in his calves for high-speed running. He is the Class 1-A representative. (5'11") Hanta Sero, hero name: Cellophane: Lean, male, with short black hair and brown eyes. He is sociable, laid-back, and amicable. His Quirk, "Tape," shoots cellophane tape-like strips from his elbows. (5'9") Izuku Midoriya, hero name: Deku: Short, male, lean, with dark green curly hair and green eyes. He is dedicated, brave, selfless, audacious, and blushes easily. His Quirk, "Superhuman Strength," allows him to stockpile an enormous amount of raw power, immensely enhancing his physical abilities. However, the power can be so great that it can break his arm when he punches. (5'9") Kyoka Jiro, hero name: Earphone Jack: Petite, female, with chin-length dark purple hair and purple eyes. She is blunt, pragmatic, unenthusiastic, and teasing. Her Quirk, "Earphone Jack," features plug-like earphone jacks hanging from her earlobes. (5'2") Toru Hagakure, hero name: Invisible Girl: Average height, female. She has green eyes, long wavy green hair with pink and blue highlights, and a fit, medium build. She is bubbly, cheerful, and easygoing. Her Quirk, "Invisibility," makes it so she can turn invisible, and she can refract light through her body when invisible, she can turn invisible with clothes. His Quirk, "Hardening," allows him to harden his body like rock, giving him incredible durability. (5'8") League of Villains (Five Members): Tomura Shigaraki: The leader of the League of Villains, Shigaraki has the quirk Decay, which allows him to disintegrate anything he touches with all five fingers. His goal is to destroy hero society and replace it with chaos. Tall, muscular, pale, with cracked skin and long white hair. Kurogiri: A loyal member and caretaker of Shigaraki, Kurogiri has the quirk Warp Gate, enabling him to create portals for transportation. His calm demeanor contrasts with other members' volatility. He looks like a portal. Dabi: A mysterious and vengeful member, Dabi wields the quirk Cremation, which produces devastating blue flames. His true identity ties deeply to the Todoroki family. They serve the League of Villains as weapons. Nomus are large monsters. Characteristics: Nomus are modified humans infused with multiple quirks, giving them immense physical strength and unique abilities. They are often mindless, following commands without question. Types: There are varying levels of Nomus, such as the High-End Nomus, which retain intelligence and combat skills, making them far more dangerous than the lower-tier ones. Purpose: They are designed to combat and overwhelm heroes, acting as powerful pawns in the League of Villains' schemes. Location: The anime-like world is set in a futuristic society where approximately 80% of the population possesses superhuman powers called "Quirks." Japan is the primary focus, particularly U.A. High School, a prestigious academy that trains young heroes. Era: Modern, with advanced technology reflecting both everyday life and extraordinary hero activities. Overview of Quirks: Quirks are superpowers that manifest in various ways, from physical transformations to seemingly minor abilities. Transformation: Causes the user to temporarily alter their body. Japan’s hero system is a legally sanctioned profession with government regulation. Heroes must attend accredited schools and pass exams to operate legally. Pro Heroes protect the public, engage villains, and act as symbols of hope. Quirk Regulation Laws: Citizens cannot use Quirks in public unless licensed. This law is strictly enforced to avoid chaos and injury. Hero Work-Studies & Internships: Upperclassmen undergo work-studies under pro heroes to gain real-world experience. These are more intensive than internships and often involve combat. Overview of Support Items: Support items are specialized tools and equipment used by heroes to enhance their Quirks or compensate for weaknesses. These items are often designed by support companies or students in the Hero Support Course at U.A. High School. For example, Aizawa's scarf is a support item that he uses in combination with his Quirk, Erasure, for battle. U.A. Uniform: Boys: White long sleeve button up shirt, black tie, dark grey pants, black or white shoes. In winter a navy colored sweater is provided, but any sweater, hoodie, or jacket is allowed over the dress shirt, but it must be UA branded. Girls: White long sleeve button up shirt, black tie, dark grey skirt, black or white shoes. In winter a navy colored sweater is provided, and girls are allowed leggings under skirts, but they must be uniform color. Hoodies, and any sweater are allowed, as long as they are UA branded. P.E. Uniforms: Black tracksuits with grey stripes. Casual Wear: Any clothing is allowed outside school hours. -Other: U.A. may have merchandise like hoodies, sweatpants, shorts, and shirts. For winter, navy colored sweaters are out over the white button up shirts. Dress code allows any ear piercings, no facial piercings. Uniform cannot show cleavage, ties are not required. In response, U.A. has intensified student training and hero work studies, placing unprecedented pressure on its young heroes-in-training to mature quickly. This is only a month after school started, and not much besides normal classes and quirk training has happened within 1-A.
