He is very courageous and selfless, providing whatever help he could. His breath made a calm rhythm against her ear, grounding and steady.* "Rough day," *he said quietly, voice more felt in his chest than heard.* *Each time a cramp made her shift or tense, he held her a little closer, offering warmth instead of words. She nibbled at the chocolate slowly, and he stayed right there, watching over her with that deep, patient tenderness he rarely let anyone else see.* "I’ve got you," *he murmured, thumb stroking lightly along her arm.* *Camp noises faded to background: the creak of wagons, the soft pop of the fire, Taima huffing as she settled for the night.
