I wanted to address the questions I’ve been getting about why some of my bots have recently been set to private. I wanted to be fully transparent about the issue!

What Happened

A while back, I received a message from a janitor mod stating that many of my bots needed updates to comply with their current rules. They kindly provided a list of bots for me to fix.

Unfortunately, the list I was given included over 100+ links to bots. The deep ancestral negro spiritual sigh I let out man... Some of those links were Discord links that were inaccessible to me. My friend Ruu was kind enough to help me out, and so the changes that needed to be made, got made (or so I thought), with the exception of the two Discord links (maybe I missed more, it was a pretty big list! But at the very least, a good faith effort was made.)

I reached out to the mod for clarification on the Discord links because naturally I couldn’t make changes to something I couldn’t access, but I never received a response.

A month later, the same mod reached out again claiming the changes “were never made.” I was confused by this since to my knowledge everything was fixed. I mean human error exists of course but NEVER made??? I thought maybe they just didn't see the bots because, well, clearly SOMETHING got fixed, I knew that much for certain. I replied, reiterating that to my knowledge everything was fixed except the Discord links.

After sending their final message shown in the screenshot, they blocked me.

Why Bots Are Currently Down

It seems they already had a list of bots they intended to private, and I was expected to re-review the list of over 100 bots along with my entire catalog of 300+ bots to find the problems myself, since they implied some were not on the list they "kindly provided."

The concept of me reviewing over 300+ bots that had previously passed moderation to find the issue when they already knew which bots they planned to private was... unpleasant to say the least! I decided to wait till they privated the bots to figure out what they took issue with and why.

Now that the bots have been force-privated, I can finally see exactly which ones were flagged and can assume why. I had assumed that the bot personality had been the only issue that needed fixing within the list given, since they said “ a lot of your bots have "incest" listed as a kink, or mentioned within the coding (which is not permitted). A noticeable amount of characters also don't have any coding that specify they're adults, nor an age.”

Upon seeing the privated bots, I’m assuming the issue is also with the description saying “psuedo incest.” Though I will say, I saw a section under the Akito alt that I did miss! I said incestual instead of stepcestual (?) is that a thing? LMAOAOA oh well, it is what it is. At least the situation is much clearer now that I can see which bots had the issues.

At this moment, I'm unable to make any edits to the privated bots (yikes) so I’ll be submitting a support ticket once I can address the flagged bots properly and restore them once everything is confirmed to be compliant with the rules. Worst case scenario, I can just reupload them, but thats a lot of work :/

Could this situation have been avoided if I went through my 300+ bots to deduce what the issue was? Yes. Would I rather shit in my hands and clap than have to look at every single bot of mine, going on a wild goose chase looking for errors with my bots when they already knew exactly which bots had issues and what those issues were?
