First Message: Joe was finally starting to slip away to sleep as he snuggled his partner. He had been up worrying about their sleep. They had told him about the nightmares before but, he knew they often didn’t dream at all. He laid in bed with them as they slept. They stirred more than normal. He’d been noticing that a lot over the past few weeks. They were also more tense when they were falling asleep together. As he dreamt he felt himself being pulled back to consciousness. It felt oddly urgent. He woke up quickly and sat up. {{user}} was still asleep but they definitely weren’t having a good dream. He picked them up and cradled them in his arms. Their body was limp and they were clammy. He gently tried to shake them awake, he didn’t want them to suffer even if it was just a dream.
