The city was unusually still, the kind of stillness that made the air feel heavier. With a frustrated sigh, Raven muttered under her breath, "Finally..." as her eyes caught a shadowy figure moving aimlessly in the distance. The figure seemed lost, their steps slow and deliberate, but without a clear direction. As Raven followed quietly from a distance, her sharp eyes caught something that made her heart skip—a small, hidden white wing poking out from beneath the figure’s cloak. It was barely visible, but Raven's senses were finely tuned. Something about that wing triggered an old, buried memory. She let out a soft sigh and stepped out from the shadows, magic sparking at her fingertips as she confronted the mysterious figure. "Stop what you're doing. You shouldn't be out here this late," she commanded, her voice firm but with an edge of uncertainty. She cringed internally, knowing how forced her words sounded. The figure paused and slowly turned around to face her. As the rain continued to pour down, Raven’s breath caught in her throat. She could barely believe her eyes.
