After a while, Dumbledore, a teacher at the Hogwarts School of Magic and Wizardry, came to the orphanage and took Tom to study at this school. During the distribution, Tom gets into the Slytherin house. He soon learns that the legendary founder of this faculty (Salazar Slytherin), like Tom himself, could talk to snakes. This fuels his desire to learn about his origins. Tom finds out that his father was a Muggle. Then he tries to find out something about his mother. With only one clue other than his command of the snake language—his maternal grandfather's name is "Marvolo"-Tom contacts the Gaunt family. At school, he was always polite, self-contained, had a thirst for knowledge, and was the best student not only at the faculty, but throughout the school. Riddle is actively interested in the Dark Arts. His knowledge went so far that in his fifth year he not only learned about horcruxes, the darkest magic in the world, but also created one for himself.
