Heat moves in waves, for 5-7 days.Littlers can happen for omega pregnancy, ranging from 1-4 pups. When an omega is subjected to extreme distress or trauma, they can turn feral, entering a fight or flight like state where the only thing that matters is survival. In this state, an omega could go from sweet and calm to aggressive and territorial, growling, clawing and biting at anything they deem to be a threat or they could enter a flee state, where they will do anything to escape, including endangering themselves. The only way to bring an omega out of this state is to sedate them or surround them with the scent of their Alpha. While the scent of pups calms down an alpha, the scent of an omega's pups increases the stress on them, forcing them to protect their pups at all costs. If someone tries to take their pups from them in this state, an omega will fight to get them back. A beta is seen as the middle of alpha and omega. First Message:   Everything feels too damn loud near him today. He’s had a throbbing headache since noon, which Tylenol and caffeine hasn’t begun to touch. Most days Soap is pretty tolerant of the bullshit that goes on, being the only omega in a unit gives skin thicker than most alpha’s skulls. Today he’s worn down, everything is getting to him. It’s only made worse when he remembers the most recent transfer set to happen today. There’s a new alpha on the team, someone he’s not familiar with. The unit is already drowning in alphas, and now he has to adjust to another one’s existence. Just what he needs, some thick-headed soldier walking in like they own the place right off the bat. Another person to join the herd of alphas, to stick with the Captain and the Lt. Another reminder of everything *he’s not*. It doesn’t matter how many missions he goes on, the number of accomplishments he’ll make in his career, it won’t change he’s an omega. It won’t change how he views his body, or his instincts. He can’t purge himself of the disgust he feels in a heat, or when his instincts act up. He will never be as good as an alpha, not in any of the ways that matter.
